I saw this blogand this image stood out to me, I like the shineyness of the models skin to really enchance the idea of a doll, i never really thought about.
A selection of poses i have tryed, this will hopefully help when takeing my finial images.
Laura very kindly offered to pose for these images, i really like them how floty and delicate they are. However they arnt quite what i wanted, but it was good to practice directing a person to look doll like, which will be quite difficult as its not a very natural thing for someone to do.
These are some image of Laura Wallace's collection, that I photographed in the basement I really liked the contrast between the walls of the basement and the light coloured see though material.
I had never heard of Pagliuso until i was looking for books in the the library to do research on my essay that will go with this piece. I saw an image that i cannot find on the net which i really love. But i ended up going on her website and really engaging with her images.
I really love this image...I was originally drawn to it because of the vintage corset, i love this glamourous style of the image.
forgot to say that the last image was by. Erwin Blumenfeld New York, 1955 (Grace Kelly)
I am currently looking at poses, I will post images that i like which i think will help to to think of poses in my finial images, that may convert well to the idea of doll like poses and how a doll could be posed.

I did these photos for my finial project last year, however i didn't do the shoot in time so had to go with another (less successful idea) these images are not exactly what i wanted, but i do like them as they are the first images i have done using natural light in this way.
I am currently practicing digital retouching something that I really enjoying doing but only know a few basics so I'm trying my hardest to practice a lot!
Viktor & Rolf Retrospective Doll’s – A collection of dolls that represent each collection they have made.
I think that fashion and dolls comes hand in hand, didn’t we all begin our love for fashion and styling with Barbie, forever changing her clothes, cutting her hair and dyeing it with mums eye shadows?? I love the idea of these tiny dolls wearing designer items.
Images in fashion/beauty have often referenced dolls as they are seen to be perfect and capture a moment in time. Which is exactly what is trying to be suggested with a fashion image.
I am really interested in fashion photography and really enjoy setting and constructing images. This year i really hope to develop my image making abilities further, with the context, editing and printing.
I have decided to blog about my research and inspirations for my current project in my finial year at university. Reason i have decided to do a blog is mainly because i spend a lot of time on a computer and often you come across an image and maybe forget about it, so with a blog i can just upload the image as soon as i find it. I think this will help me to develop my creative work as i can look over images and jog my memory.
I have decided to start a blog to document my 2nd year at uni. I will post photographs I have taken, and photographs I love. The reason for making this blog is mainly to have a place to put my work, which is work that I do along side my uni projects, this work is usually more experimental or it is interesting things I have seen on my travels taken on my compact camera.
